Maricopa, CA.

On our way up to pismo, we passed this little town called Maricopa, and so I asked my aunt on our way back to Bakersfield, if we could stop and take pictures there. And most of everything was either locked up, or broken. If you looked into the windows, everything was dusty and old, and torn apart. So when I got home, I did research, and it's almost like the town is shutting down. I think it's very sad, and I would like to try to help raise money for everyone in the town, so they can save it, but I wouldn't know how. but I really liked this place, it was very nice and quiet. The population is around 1,000 people, so I wouldn't imagine very many things go on. One of the articles said, most of the town revolves around the police dept. It said that the officers are going crazy with traffic tickets, and impounding cars. To me it's very said, and I would like to do something about it, but no one ever listens to kids.
